With the mobile IP call module, subscribers have the option to answer calls on a soft client or via the conventional handset interface, depending on location and network availability. By answering calls using the IP client, expensive roaming charges can be minimised. The intelligent solution can also be set as default where suitable network connectivity is available.
The Mobile IP Call Module can be deployed on any suitable device – smartphone, tablet, PC or Mac, providing flexibility of choice for the user and recreating their office experience. They can handover calls from one device to another and access the same functionality that they enjoy in their home country, irrespective of location.
ice.net (formally Network Norway) is the third mobile operator in Norway and launched services targeted towards the SME market in October 2007. ice.net chose Gintel’s solution as the platform for their flagship Mobile Office service offering.
