Service provider research claims cost savings and productivity gains through adopting Virtual PaBX services

In recent news, an independent service provider claimed that its customers enjoy significant costs savings and enhanced productivity from using virtual office and Virtual PaBX solutions. Although the service provider isn't one of our customers, the survey findings make interesting reading for anyone involved with Mobile and IP Centrex solutions.

For many years, analysts and vendors have made similar claims. It's good to have some validation from a key stakeholder group: subscribers. We've already reported on the excellent customer satisfaction ratings achieved by one of our customers and it's excellent to read some specific findings from the survey of end users that endorse the claims that have been made by analysts and vendors.

According to the survey, 43% of SMBs claimed costs savings of $1000 or more per month from subscribing to hosted services, and 59% felt they were more effective due to enabling remote working.

Interestingly, the most demanded feature was the ability to customise music and message on-hold playback. Fortunately, this is something that Gintel already offers as part of the Easy Virtual PaBX solution.
