When I joined Gintel, the first thing I noticed is that it’s a combination of a start-up and established company – which creates a really interesting dynamic. It’s exciting to be part of an evolving business that is built on solid foundations.
Everyone here is competent, professional, and highly skilled – there’s a huge degree of co-operation between different areas and functions.
We have the opportunity to get involved with all of our operational areas – so I can experience of the financial needs and requirements of all of our activities. I’m not rigidly compartmentalised – so I am exposed to all aspects of our financial operations – and, I’m learning a lot about telecoms and tech!
We collaborate really well across all functional areas – from project managers to our SI / delivery teams and on to sales. It’s a very well-functioning organisation.
Everyone is receptive and encouraged to share ideas – I’ve noticed lots of ways in which I can help enhance efficiency and support our evolution.
Gintel offers much more than I was used to – it’s well organised and the activities are always interesting. This really helps everyone to integrate and share experiences – particularly for those who are not originally from Norway.
