Ernst Thue Appointed CEO for Gintel

Gintel is delighted to announce the appointment of Ernst Thue to the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Ernst joins Gintel from successful Norwegian company, Conax, a leading innovator of sophisticated security solutions for Digital TV. Ernst held the role of CEO at Conax, where he tripled revenues to over NOK 600 million during his tenure.

As a fast-growing company, Gintel is always seeking to strengthen its team with visionary telecoms executives, and Ernst is no exception. Ernst has nearly 30 years’ global business experience, and has held a range of senior executive positions around the globe, including a spell at Norwegian mobile operator Telenor, and tenure as COO of Ghana Telecom, one of Africa’s most innovative telecoms companies. The appointment of such an experienced executive is a significant step towards meeting Gintel’s ambitious growth targets.

Ernst has succeeded in developing emerging companies into leading global brands, with an outstanding track record of success, and this experience reflects Gintel’s ambition.
