The Mobile IP Call Module enables service providers to offer IP calling to mobile UC subscribers. It’s a simple upgrade that can be selected as a complement to the Easy Business Communications Suite.

With the Mobile IP Call Module, calls to mobile devices can be delivered via IP at the same time as being routed via conventional GSM / UMTS networks.

Add mobile IP call support

With the mobile IP call module, subscribers have the option to answer calls on a soft client or via the conventional handset interface, depending on location and network availability. By answering calls using the IP client, expensive roaming charges can be minimised. The intelligent solution can also be set as default where suitable network connectivity is available.

Any device for user convenience

The Mobile IP Call Module can be deployed on any suitable device – smartphone, tablet, PC or Mac, providing flexibility of choice for the user and recreating their office experience. They can handover calls from one device to another and access the same functionality that they enjoy in their home country, irrespective of location.

Like many mobile operators, Kcell, the leading mobile network provider in Kazakhstan, is faced with the challenge of revenue growth. Mushrooming data consumption, enabled by significant investment in Kcell’s LTE infrastructure and networks, has not been matched by a proportional rise in data revenues, a common challenge that MNOs are struggling to address.
